About Otterson Hall
Otterson Hall, located in North Campus, houses the Rady School of Management. The building was occupied in June 2007 and has an assignable area of 50,547 square feet. The facility was named in honor of William Otterson, co-founder of UC San Diego CONNECT, for his contributions to the San Diego business community. Otterson Hall was designed to facilitate the interaction of the Rady School with the UC San Diego campus and the greater San Diego community. The building was constructed with environmental sustainability in mind, and includes natural ventilation, energy efficient lighting, and solar panels on the roof. A $30 million gift from Ernest Rady and the Rady Family Foundation helped support the construction of this building.
