About UC San Diego Health Amy and William J. Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion

The Amy and William J. Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion, the most recent addition to UC San Diego's world-class medical campus, opened in March of 2018. This new pavilion houses eight surgery suites, basic and advanced imaging, physical therapy and pain management along with infusion and apheresis services. Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion is named after Bill and Amy Koman in recognition of their generosity and dedication to advancing health care in San Diego. The Komans are extremely passionate in their support in cancer research and are the founders of Padres Pedal the Cause, an annual local cycling event that raises millions of dollars for collaborative cancer research with cancer centers throughout San Diego, including UC San Diego Health's Moores Cancer Center.
