Donor recognition
Endowed chairs
- Maintain comprehensive records about endowed chairs, their purpose, approval, and funds associated with the chairs.
- Facilitate any changes made to endowed chair names, purposes, or terms.
- Partner with Development and other campus representatives seeking to establish chairs.

Naming agreements
Individual donors can be honored by naming university property, a program, or facility. Donor Stewardship facilitates the approvals for naming agreements.

Fund stewardship
- Ensures compliance with UC and UC San Diego policies
- Informs units about the purpose and appropriate use of gift funds
- Provides annual endowed fund reports that show market value, gift inflows, and payout
- Sustain donor relations by partnering with Development and staff to provide reporting
- Provide financial information on gift funds through an online dashboard
