Bonner Hall

About named building

Bonner Hall is a laboratory/research building in Revelle College, occupied primarily by Biological Sciences and the Center for Molecular Genetics and Facilities Management. One of Bonner hall's defining features is the unique set of hexagonal breezeways that it shares with Mayer and York hall, connecting the 3 lecture halls and providing an iconic, symmetrical aesthetic addition to the space. Bonner Hall is named after Dr. David M. Bonner, a nationally renowned geneticist and the first Chairman of the Department of Biology at UC San Diego.
