What We Do
Program Management and Business Integration (PMBI) is a unit of the Campus Human Resources (HR) - People Systems domain. Our mission is to provide project planning and system implementation services focused on sound business processes, user advocacy, and operational optimization.
PMBI designs enterprise-wide program solutions - programs impacting at the UC system-wide level and the local UC San Diego level - and coordinates the integration of these solutions into campus business systems. Staffed with program/project managers, business analysts and subject matter experts, PMBI transforms strategic business process improvement initiatives into functional and operational systems ready for deployment.
PMBI serves as the Program Management Office (PMO), representing UC San Diego on behalf of the UC system-wide UCPATH initiative and associated projects. Our services include:

Central Office Partners
PMBI partners with several UC San Diego central offices to ensure effective implementation of UCPath project initiatives and system enhancements. The central offices provide subject matter and operational expertise to assist in defining process improvements and ensuring system deployment readiness.
