UC San Diego is excited to welcome staff, faculty, students and the community back to campus. In preparation for your return, please do the following:
- Complete the COVID-19 prevention training, as required by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Cal/OSHA.
- If you completed the COVID-19 Return to Work Training released in 2020, you will receive a notification from the UC Learning Center to complete a 10-minute supplemental course that summarizes the key updates on the current state requirements and UC policy. You must complete this supplemental course within two weeks of receiving the notification, in order to comply with the state directive.
- If you are completing the training for the first time, you must complete the updated COVID-19 Return to Work course, COVID-19 Prevention, which is now available in the UC Learning Center. The COVID-19 Prevention course takes 30 minutes to complete. Take the COVID-19 Prevention course »
- If you have a flexible work arrangement (alternative work schedule, hybrid or remote), review the appropriate agreement and discuss the specifics with your supervisor prior to initiating via DocuSign.
- Update your information in the Work Location Status tool to demonstrate your new work arrangement and provide your onsite location.
- Review the campus safety information on the Return to Learn site that includes information about symptom and exposure screening requirements; COVID-19 testing; personal protection; and more.
