Talent Solutions

Temporary Employment Services (TES)

Temporary Employment Services is the division of Human Resources responsible for providing temporary staffing to departments on campus, at UC San Diego Medical Center, Thornton Hospital, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Talent Acquisition

Talent Acquisition is the unit of Human Resources responsible for recruitment. The unit assists the university in attracting the best qualified and diverse applicants through various outreach efforts.

Executive Recruitment Services is a retained executive search firm dedicated to hiring exceptional leaders by combining the best of the executive search process and in depth knowledge of higher education and mission driven organizations.

Compensation and Classification provides consultation on the administration of base and ancillary pay, classification and job analysis, overall compensation strategies, and rate setting.

Benefits

Benefits provides faculty and staff with support on the full scope of university-sponsored health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans

Employee Programs and Recognition

Employee Programs & Recognition develops and executes employee programs for retention, recognition, and engagement.

Disability Counseling and Consulting

Disability Counseling and Consulting provides disability management and job accommodation consultation services to UC San Diego faculty and staff who have a medical condition (physical or mental) that interferes with their ability to stay at or return to work.

Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP)

FSAP is a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which helps campus* faculty and staff, all Postdoctoral and Visiting Scholars, UC San Diego emeriti and retirees resolve concerns affecting personal well-being and/or job performance.

Retirement Resource Center

We are the home of the UCSD Retirement Association and the UCSD Emeriti Association, and serves as the starting point for information for all UC San Diego retirees.

PMBI designs enterprise-wide program solutions - programs impacting at the UC system-wide level and the local UC San Diego level - and coordinates the integration of these solutions into campus business systems.

Business Intelligence/HCM
This unit is responsible for designing, supporting and maintaining the procedural, operational and technical infrastructure that collects, stores, and analyzes the data produced by enterprise systems and activities to drive decisions, benchmark performance and improve processes.

The Integrated HR Services unit provides specific organizational areas with full-service human resources consultation, guidance and support.

Student Employment Office 
The Student Employment Office is an important high-impact practice that provides thousands of opportunities for students to work part-time to develop on-the-job skills, make connections throughout the campus, and enhance their educational experience at UC San Diego.
