Create an Airbnb Widget

Step by step instructions on how to request an Airbnb widget for your next UC San Diego event.

Airbnb widgets allow departments to share available Airbnb listings near the event location so guests can book lodging directly from the event site. Departments can request a customized widget directly from Airbnb by filling out this form. The event organizer will be able to add the customized widget created by Airbnb to their event page.

How to Get Started

  1. Fill out the this google form regarding your event a minumum of 8 weeks in advance of the event date. 
    1. It will take 24-48 hours to process the request during business days. 
  2. You will recieve a code snippet to embed on your website within 1 week.
  3. Give the code snippet and instructions provided by Airbnb to your webmaster to add to your website.
  4. Once your webmaster has updated your website, your guests can now view your Airbnb widget and book through the link provided.
