Call to Action Module

Learn about the call to action module available for version 5 templates.

The call to action module features a headline, single text area, and a button (with link) presented beside an image.

The image can be presented on the left or right and the module can be given a light background shading.

Create a new call to action module

  1. From the New Content menu, click Features->Modules->Call to Action. The module will be placed in the _modules folder by default. You can create multiple sub-folders within _modules as needed (similar to images and files). To create multiple instances of this module, copy the module and rename it. Edit each module separately.
  2. Click Edit to bring up the edit screen.

  3. Complete these fields:
    • Headline: All caps text
    • Blurb: Text, capitalization as entered
    • Button Text: All caps link text in a yellow box
    • Link Type: Choose internal or external
    • Internal/ External Link: Select your internal link or enter your external link
    • Style: 'Light' uses a white background, 'Dark' uses a shaded background
    • Media Position: Left or right
    • Media Type: Select Image to upload an image, WYSIWYG to enter video embed code, or Trident Graphic to use the yellow trident background.
    • Image: Choose or upload an image. Images should be 550 x 370 pixels for this module.
  4. Save & Preview, Submit as normal.
    To place the new module on a page, add it as one of the middle blocks.
  5. Publish the page (not the module) to see the changes on stage and/or the live site.
