Learn how to configure your Windows 7 computer to use Wi-Fi Protected Access-Enterprise (WPA2-E) at UC San Diego.
Note:
- You must have administrator privileges on your PC to successfully complete these steps.
- If you're using the wireless card manufacturer's software program to control your wireless, see alternate instructions.
- Click on the Wireless Network Connection icon on the bottom right of your screen near the system clock.
- Click on the UCSD-PROTECTED network.
- Ensure the "Connect automatically" box is checked and click Connect.
- If a "Windows Security Alert" window opens, please click the "Connect" button again.
- Enter your Active Directory username and password.
You are now connected to the protected wireless network.
