Configuring Blackberry Z10, to Use Encrypted (WPA2-E) Wireless Services at UCSD

Follow these steps to set up your Blackberry Z10, to use WPA2-E encrypted wireless at UCSD.

Before you begin, you must have:

  • An Active Directory (AD) username and password. Your username is usually the first part of your UCSD e-mail address (before the @ symbol). If you have forgotten your password, reset it at http://adpass.ucsd.edu.

1. Configure your Wi-Fi.

  • Select Settings.

2. Select Network Connections

  • Select Network Connections.

3. Select the UCSD encrypted wireless service.

  • Select Wi-Fi / UCSD-PROTECTED.
  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi is turned on.

4. Authenticate.

  • In the Username field, enter your Active Directory username.
  • In the Password field, enter your Active Directory password.
