How to Access a Shared Chart in MyDashboard

With MyDashboard you can access charts that other users have created and designated shareable.

Go directly to MyDashboard.

Note: To use MyDashboard, you need a Business Systems account and authorization to use EmployeeLink, FinancialLink, or Blink Student/ Class Info.

1. Review charts that you and others have designated shareable.

  • Click the EDIT MyDashboard tab to open the Editor.
  • Click any Add Chart button on the right side of the Editor screen.
  • On the new screen, click the link to view a list of shared charts.
  • You'll see shared charts from other users in the ivory-colored section.

2. Add the chart.

  • Click either Share or Copy next to the chart you want to add.
    • Share will cause you to share the chart with the chart owner.
    • Copy will create your own version of the chart with you as owner.
  • MyDashboard creates an updated copy of the chart for you. This could take several seconds.
  • The chart will be added to the end of the tab from which you originally clicked "add chart."

3. Change the chart appearance.

  • You can change the order, location, height, or width of this new chart.
  • You can’t change the name or shareable properties because this is a shared chart.

Note: This information applies only to charts that you have chosen through the Share option.
