Research Administration Client Experience
Office of Contract and Grant Administration (OCGA) is currently undergoing a comprehensive reorganization to better meet customer needs. As we transition to a new model of work assignment, we ask that you utilize the following tools to answer your inquiries or connect with an OCGA Research Administation Client Experience Agent:
- Research Administration Activity Dashboard (single sign-on required): For statuses of proposals, agreements, awards, officer assignments, pending compliances, and more go to the Research Administration Activity Dashboard, which contains multiple reports and is intended to answer various business questions in one place.
- Client Experience Team: For other questions and assistance contact the Client Experience Team at researchadmin@ucsd.edu and be assured that a Client Experience Agent will respond to your request promptly.
- UCSD Services and Support Portal: To check on the status of your request visit the UCSD Services and Support portal go to ‘My Stuff’ -> ‘Tickets’ to view recent activity, chat with an agent and more.
- Research Knowledge Base: For ‘how to’ and other FAQs visit the Research Knowledge Base to search for articles and instructions regarding various research administration topics.

- For Health Science PI’s and Research Administrators, use the SPO Decision Tree to determine the appropriate office for Proposals and Awards/Other Research Agreements.
