COVID Reporting Overview

Learn more about UC San Diego's COVID reporting efforts.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis UC San Diego is tracking all COVID-19 related expenses in order to better understand the impact of this health crisis. With the assistance of our campus partners, we will be able to report costs to the State of California, the Office of the President (UCOP), and federal and other agencies. The resources below help provide additional information regarding UC San Diego's tracking & reporting efforts.

Although there is a general idea of the types of expenses that may be reimbursed there is no list of guaranteed reimbursements at this time.  Please note tracking and reporting does not equal funding.

  • Benefits for Campus include:
    • Some expenditures and labor efforts are eligible for reimbursement from FEMA. Tracking and reporting ensures we gather all the needed information with the granular detail for the Federal government.
    • Repository of efforts for other future funds source opportunities
    • Management tool for local decision making
  • See more background in the COVID Reporting Background Presentation.
  • If you have more questions, see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
