IPPS Operations Status During COVID-19
IPPS is actively working to minimize the impact to your departments and maintain critical operations as concerns around Covid-19 continue to develop. This Blink page will be updated frequently with potential operational impacts in IPPS departments.

Package & Freight Delivery
- Daily deliveries from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM to approved labs, offices that support labs, and other essential operations via request. Daily deliveries will include both backlogged items and new items received. Packages indicated as cold storage will not be left unattended unless requested. Pickup options are available for labs and essential operations that will be inconsistently on-campus. If one of the above options has not been requested and service is needed, complete the Logistics Essential Operations form.

Arrowhead Water Customers
- All accounts have been placed on Will Call status unless requested.
- If your location would like to resume water deliveries, please notify STORE via the Services & Support (SSO) tool.
Self-Store
Campus Mail
Mail code pick-up and delivery will incrementally resume to mail-stops that have locking mailboxes and are located in public spaces. Mail code account holders will be notified by email if /when their mail delivery resumes.
Due to low campus density and impacted staffing levels, mail delivery/pickup has been reduced to twice a week for active mail codes.
- If you would like to pick up/drop off mail at Campus Services Complex, Building A (map) on Greenhouse Lane, we are open between 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Mon-Fri). Messenger Services are available if you cannot pick up/drop off yourself.
- To resume your mail code service or request delivery/pickup exceptions, please submit a case on Services & Support.
Student Mail (Undergrad)
Logistics Student Mail has consolidated parcel centers into three centralized locations on campus for you to safely and easily pick up your package deliveries! Beginning September 21st, packages will be automatically routed to whichever location is closest to the student's place of residence.

Hours: Weekdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM - The Trove: Located in Price Center Suite 200 at the north end of Library Walk across from Geisel Library
Hours: Weekdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Seventh College: Building 2, Ground floor (map).
Hours: Weekdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Eleanor Roosevelt College: ERC Student Activity Center. Hours: Weekdays, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Note: Only parcels will be picked up from the parcel centers. Regular mail will still be sent to the student's mail box in their respective college.
Your package notification email will include the pickup location. All locations are closed on weekends. Masks are required.

- Students that have moved off campus and will not be returning can change their mailing address in TritonLink and should update any businesses that currently send mail to their campus address with their new information.
Outbound Shipping
- Outbound mail pickup frequency may be affected. Please check the Campus Mail section to find the most recent updates.
- Fully operational. Submit a request for outbound shipments through the Logistics Portal.
Mailing Center - Open at The Trove
Mailing Center is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at The Trove.
All staff and customers entering The Trove are required to follow campus COVID-19 safety requirements.

Surplus Sales - Open by Appointment
Surplus Sales is open
Visist the Surplus Sales website to submit pickup requests and purchase items for personal or departmental use. Visit https://surplus.ucsd.edu
- The Surplus warehouse/showroom at 7835 Trade Street is operating on limited hours by appointment.
- To schedule an appointment please email surplus@ucsd.edu or call the office at (858)534-2844. All customers will be required to wear a face-covering and adhere to a symptom screening prior to entering the warehouse.

Travel

Concur is the new booking tool for UC San Diego employees traveling on behalf of the university.

Disbursements
- Scrips, checks, and Gift Cards are now picked up at Mail services from 8:00 AM -2:00 PM, Mon-Fri. Requestors are contacted via email with details.
- Per the Campus Notice issued by Payroll, please encourage staff to enroll in Direct Deposit.
Student Financial Solutions (SFS)
- Student Accounts Services, Campus Cards, and Central Cashier's Office are operational. Visit the SFS Contact page for information, hours, and available services.
