TritonEd: Log in

Learn how to log in to TritonEd.

To access TritonEd, visit tritoned.ucsd.edu and log in with your Active Directory (AD) username and password.

TritonEd, email, the UCSD-PROTECTED wireless network, Virtual Private Network (VPN), and ETS computer labs use AD to authenticate users. Your AD account is automatically set up by Educational Technology Services (ETS) or your department when you come to campus.

Faculty and staff

Username:

Your username is the first part of your email address, without “@ucsd.edu”.
Use the username officially assigned to you. Do not use an alias as a login.

Password:

If you cannot log in, you may need to change your password.

Note

As of Spring 2017, TritonEd sites are created automatically for all standard UC San Diego courses at the start of the quarter. The instructor of record will receive automated access and will be notified via email when the site is ready. Students will not see the course until the instructor makes the course available.

Student

Username:

Your username is your email address without “@ucsd.edu.”

If you do not know your username, use the Account Lookup Tool, search using your last name and PID (the letter A followed by 8 digits, eg. A12345678).

Concurrent students: Concurrent Enrollment students during Fall, Winter, or Spring quarter, click here for AD account information.

Summer students: Students enrolled for summer sessions will have Active Directory (AD) accounts assigned. Use the Account Lookup Tool to search for your username.

Password:

If you cannot log in or remember your password, you may need to change your password.

Note

Not all classes use TritonEd as a course website. Verify with your instructor if they will be using TritonEd.
