In Canvas, playlists are course-specific and can come in handy in several circumstances.
As you probably know, a playlist is just a list of media whose order and content you select. Within Canvas, Kaltura media playlists are course-specific and live in the Media Gallery - not "My Media." They can come in handy in a variety of circumstances, and if you're a podcast user who's elected to do so, you'll find a playlist automatically generated by the system containing all of your course videos as they're also added to the Media Gallery.
