Which clickers can students use?
iClicker2, iClicker+, and the original iClicker are supported at UC San Diego and are sufficient for student use.
iClicker and iClicker+ provide basic functionality to answer multiple-choice questions.
iClicker2 confirms the student's specific response by showing it on the screen and includes the ability to provide numeric and alphanumeric responses. The majority of faculty at UC San Diego do not use these question types, but students can only answer those questions with an iClicker2.
See iClickers: Before Class for more info on how to order or purchase iClickers.
Do I need to use iClicker Cloud (formerly REEF Instructor) to allow students to use REEF in my class?
ETS currently supports the mobile iClicker Student mobile app through the standard iClicker software (iClicker Classic) that is downloadable from the Downloading and Installing page.
We currently do not support the online iClicker Cloud app since it has not been tested with the campus and may still have issues syncing scores and downloading class rosters.
How do I enable the iClicker Student mobile application in the iClicker Classic course settings?
See this iClicker support article to learn about enabling iClicker Student mobile app in the standard iClicker Classic software.

What if I get the multiple clicker error message?
This is likely a clicker registration issue and not an academic integrity issue. See iClickers: After Class for info on what to do if you get the multiple clickers error.
Where can I get more information?
