Request A Wire

Departments can request an electronic wire payment to payees with bank accounts that reside outside of the United states.

To request a wire:

  • Departments should submit a request through ASK (login required) to request a Wire Form.
  • The following information needs to be filled out entirely on the form:
    • Payee name (payee)
    • Payee address/city/country (required)
      • All international wires will require full Payee/ Beneficiary address details. Not providing a full address could cause a disruption in the wire payment and/ or cause the wire payment to be returned. This requirement is intended to mitigate fraud.
    • Payee bank account number
    • SWIFT code (bank ID number):
      • IBAN
      • CLABE
      • Australian BSB code
    • Sort code
    • Bank name
    • Bank address
    • Amount of the wire
    • Currency type
  • Include any additional documentation as instructed on the form.
  • Department to submit the form and supporting documentation through ASK (login required, Category: Invoices, Bills, and Payments; Sub-Category: Wires and Drafts).

Note: The exchange rate will be determined at the time of conversation when the form is processed by Payment Services.
