Resources for employees

  • Career counseling is available at no cost through the following divisions of Human Resources:
  • Additional professional career counseling is available through UC San Diego Extension, including drop-in advising.
  • Employees may also obtain help in planning their career at UC San Diego by using Career Connection's free services:

Resources for supervisors

Staff Learning and Development offers two courses for supervisors that include components on how to work with employees to develop their career potential: go to the UC Learning Center  and search for Supervisory Training Laboratory and Performance Management. Staff Learning and Development also offers customized career development programs for departments on request.
