Project Management

Project Management Practical Training Program

Are you interested in learning about project management? Perhaps you are looking for a starting point to gain the knowledge and skills needed to successfully initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects at UC San Diego? The UC San Diego Business Excellence Community of Practice (BECOP), UCSD Extension, and UCSD Campus and Health Human Resources have partnered to develop a blended learning project management program that incorporates online learning, live discussion sessions, social learning and mentorship, and project work to prepare the next wave of project managers at UCSD. This quarter-long program will begin in January with an estimated time commitment of 22 hours throughout the quarter. If you are interested, consider adding this to your professional development plan and fill out the PMPTP Interest Form to receive more details about this no-cost program.  It is recommended that you discuss with your manager should you choose to participate in the program and attend sessions during the work day.
