Connexxus: Booking Travel for a Non-Employee

Find out how to book travel for non-employees through Connexxus travel agencies. Because non-employees on university business travel can't access the Connexxus Web portal, UCSD employees use Connexxus to book travel for them.

Before booking travel, preauthorize the trip to receive an event number.
To book travel for a non-employee, choose a Connexxus travel agency and follow the instructions:

- Go to Connexxus.
- Under BCD Travel, select Book Online. The Cliqbook application opens in a new window.
- In the top-right corner, select the drop-down arrow next to "You are administering travel for." Change the traveler from Me to Guest traveler.

- Enter the booking information, and click Search.
- When prompted, enter the 8-digit event number (include the leading zeros). Click Next.
- Enter the traveler's name, e-mail, and phone number. Click Next, and complete the traveler's booking.
- Go to Connexxus.
- Under Orbitz, select Book Online. The Orbitz application opens in a new window.
- Click Change Traveler.

- Select Type in the name. Enter the name of the traveler, and click Change.

- When prompted, enter the 8-digit event number (include the leading zeros).
- Complete the traveler's booking.
