Getting or Changing UCSD Passwords

Learn how to get or change your Active Directory, Business Systems, or Network passwords.
You must know your current username to get or change a password. Your username is usually the first part of your UCSD e-mail address before the @ symbol.

Active Directory (AD) password is for access to:
What to do:
- If you don't remember your password, or need to change it, follow the instructions on the Active Directory Password Change Tool.
- The tool will indicate that you have successfully changed your password.
Business Systems (SSO) password is for access to:
- At Your Service
- Link Family of tools
- Other UCSD business and finance systems
What to do:
- If you don't remember your password, or need to change it, follow the instructions on Reset Your Single Sign-On Password.
- The tool will indicate that you have successfully changed your password.
Network (Kerberos) password is for access to:
What to do:
- If you know your password and need to change it, follow the instructions on the Network Password Change form.
- The tool will indicate that you have successfully changed your password.
- If you don't know your username or password:
- Contact your department system administrator or computer support staff to request it, or
- Take your UCSD picture ID or your driver's license and a letter on UCSD letterhead confirming your position to:
- Combined ACMS/ ACT Help Desk
- Applied Physics & Mathematics building (AP&M), Room 1313 (map)
- Weekdays, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
