Use these resources to keep your computer safe and compliant with UCSD's minimum security standards:

Anti-virus software:
- Sophos: Free downloading center for UCSD users
  Note: You can also use another anti-virus software of your choice, but Sophos is free for UCSD users and available for Windows, Mac, UNIX/Linux, Exchange, Windows Server, and Novell Server. You can also use the free Sophos software at home with your UCSD license.

Operating system updates: See Updating Your Operating System.
