Use this guide to order a cell phone plan for your department from the UCSD on a recharge basis.

1. Gather information.

Consider your budget, the phone features you need, calling plan, texting plan and if you will need a data plan or not.

2. Review providers, equipment pricing and calling plans.

UCSD offers mobile devices on a recharge basis through the following providers. Equipment pricing and plan information are provided in the links below. You can contact providers' customer service representatives and visit provider Web sites:

3. Order the cell phone and service on a recharge basis from UCSD.

Complete a Cell Phone and Service Request Form and submit it electronically.
After submitting this form electronically, you will receive an e-mail confirmation notice with a 5-digit tracking number assigned to your request. Please reference this number with any questions to mymobilebill@ucsd.edu.
