Displaying Your Name on LCD Phone Screens

This feature identifies you or your department on a digital phone LCD (liquid crystal display) screen when you make calls to campus phones.

1. Check to see if this is a possible option.

  • Read about your phone model to see if it supports the feature. If your phone is shown as a digital model, you can add the display.
  • Find out what the cost will be.

2. Consider what you want to appear on the screen.

  • Decide if you want your name or your department's name to appear.

Note: You can use a maximum of 20 characters, including punctuation, dashes, and spaces.

3. Submit a request to Telecom.

  • Complete a Customer Service Request (CSR), including the information you want to appear on the screen.
