Secure System Access

Secured system access is required for core business systems (IFIS, ISIS, PPS) on the mainframe via TN3270.

In the table below, locate the software you use, then link to directions to secure your access. If you don't know your software version, ask your desktop support technician.

Hummingbird HostExplorer version 7.x or below

A TN3270 product that supports SSL, for example, Hummingbird HostExplorer version 8

  • Activate SSL and connect to port 1023 on hubble.ucsd.edu.
