How to Download and Print From Link Products - PC

Follow the instructions below to download and print data from the Link applications using Excel spreadsheets.

The instructions apply to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0. The process is very similar to other versions of Internet Explorer.

Note: The example below shows the downloading and printing process for FinancialLink. The process may vary slightly for other Link products.

1. Create a report using FinancialLink.

  • After you have created your report with FinancialLink, the top of your display should look like this:

  • Click the diskette icon and open the Report Output Options page.

2. Identify and select your output options.

  • Check these items:
    Report Headings
    Include Column Headers
    Include Subtotals
    Include Grandtotals

  • Then choose PC as your output.
  • As your file type, choose Spreadsheet.
  • Click Transfer File.

3. Respond to the File Download prompt if you get one.

  • If you see this window, click Open, and go to Step 4:

4. Print the data file.

  • In the Excel spreadsheet
    Click File and choose Print from the menu,
    or
    Click the printer icon at the top of the page.
