Help With Computers

A variety of support resources are available to assist every level of computer user at UC San Diego. Find the resources you need for your computer solutions.

Most UC San Diego departments provide their own technical support for computers. When you have a problem, you should first try to contact your department's own technical support. In some situations, it may be more efficient to contact central campus resources that provide technical assistance.

Accessing e-mail or the Internet

IT Services provides support for e-mail and Internet service from both on and off campus. Call the ITS Service Desk, (858) 246-4357 or ext. 6-HELP, for assistance. Also, online information can help you with connection problems.

Technical support

ACMS provides technical support to more than 1,800 workstations located in UC San Diego instructional labs. IT Services provides technical support to faculty and staff, and ACMS provides technical support to students.
