Help With Computers

A variety of support resources are available to assist every level of computer user at UCSD. Find the resources you need for your computer solutions.

Most UCSD departments provide their own technical support for computers. When you have a problem, you should first try to contact your department's own technical support. In some situations, it may be more efficient to contact central campus resources that provide technical assistance.

Accessing e-mail or the Internet

IT Services provides support for e-mail and Internet service from both on and off campus. Call the IT Services Help Desk at (858) 534-1853 for assistance. Also, online information can help you with connection problems.

Technical support

ACMS provides technical support to more than 1,800 workstations located in UCSD instructional labs. IT Services provides technical support to faculty and staff, and ACMS provides technical support to students.
