Find out about parking grace periods, shuttle services, and office closures for the 2009-2010 holiday season.

Parking grace periods

Transportation Services honors parking grace periods during the Thanksgiving and winter breaks.

Campus: Park in red A, green B, yellow S, visitor V, or metered spaces without a permit or fee during these times:
- 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1
- 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, to 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4
Medical centers: Physicians and staff can park without a permit or fee in red, green, or metered spaces, or in patient and visitor areas at the Hillcrest and La Jolla medical centers, Shiley Eye Center, and Moores Cancer Center during these times:
- 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1
- 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, to 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4

Parking offices, booths, and kiosks will close:

Thanksgiving break: Thursday, Nov. 26, to Sunday, Nov 29. Regular parking operations resume Monday, Nov. 30.
Winter break: Monday, Dec. 21, to Friday, Jan. 1. Regular parking operations resume Monday, Jan. 4.
These closures include:
- Campus Parking Office
- Hillcrest Parking Office
- Special Events Parking
- Gilman and North Point information centers
- Patient/ visitor kiosks at the Hillcrest and La Jolla medical centers
