Student Registration Status

If your department provides services to students, read the following to learn about the Student Registration Status tool.

Note: If you will be using the Student Registration Status tool, please bookmark this page for future reference.

Departments that provide services to students need to make sure that each student is currently enrolled and has paid fees. Use the Student Registration Status tool for automatic validation.

Access the tool

• Directly at Student Registration Status.
• Through Blink's Student/ Class Info tab.

You'll find:

• A drop-down list with the term codes that you can verify
• A box where you enter the student identification number
• A submit button

Check the registration status in 3 ways

• Entering the student's PID (personal identification) number (A########)
• Swiping the student's ID card with a magnetic stripe reader
• Swiping the student's ID card bar code with a magnetic stripe reader or entering the bar code number manually

You will get one of 5 responses from the tool:

• YES - STUDENT IS REGISTERED

• NO - STUDENT IS NOT REGISTERED

• NO - PID A######## IS NOT REGISTERED

• NO - PID A######## IS NOT FOUND

• INVALID FORMAT

Changing the term code

The term code drop-down list in the application defaults to the current term. If you need to check the status for another term, select that term in the list. The selection you just chose will now be the default term for all status checks for the current session.

Magnetic stripe readers

If your department has a high volume of student status checks, a magnetic stripe reader may be useful. When attached to your computer, the reader allows you to swipe the card instead of entering the PID manually.
