ACT Data Center Operations is responsible for the operational aspects of the Mainframe and Client Server computing facility in support of administrative and telecommunications systems. The Operations team monitors and controls the performance of all systems and hardware in a multi-platform environment, and print reports and checks for the core campus departments.
The Operations team is managed by Steve Mariani.
The facility is environmentally controlled with secured access, and is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, using 3 shifts. After-hours and weekend Help Desk calls for ACT are also handled by the Operations staff.
