Police Report Copies

Learn how you can obtain copies of police reports.
To request a report copy:
- In person: Print the request form (PDF), complete it, and submit it to the Police Department, Campus Services Complex - Building B. You may also obtain a copy of the request form at the police station.
- By telephone: Call the Records Division at (858) 534-4361.
- By mail: Print the request form (PDF), complete it, and mail it to:

Requests for police report copies are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If approved, reports are made available a minimum of 3 business days after filing.
