Emergency medical training (EMT) is available at UCSD from these sources:

UCSD Emergency Medicine Department

UCSD Medical Center is designated by the American Heart Association (AHA) as a Community Training Center.

Intended for healthcare providers, nurses, and instructors. Courses are open to everyone, including non-medical personnel.
Courses include:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
  Note: BLS includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.

Enrollment Central

Intended for non-healthcare personnel. Courses are open to all UCSD employees and affiliates.
Courses include:
- CPR Basic Cardiac Life Support
