During business hours, call Environment, Health & Safety:

When to call the Haz Mat Team

Contact the Haz Mat Team when a spill involves:

Immediate hazard (fire, explosion, chemical exposure, etc.)
Highly dangerous chemicals
Moderate or large-scale release

Laboratory workers can handle small, incidental spills on their own.
