UCSD's Technology Transfer Office (TTO) works to place UCSD innovations with commercial partners for development into useful products and to advance the university’s mission.

The TTO protects, manages, and licenses UCSD's intellectual property, including inventions in the biomedical, life science and physical sciences sectors, copyright-protected materials such as software and images, and tangible research materials.
