Luck of the draw
Charlotte Curtis, an administrative assistant in housing, beat more than 600 entrants in a random drawing of commuters who ditched their cars for World Carfree Day, Sept. 22. She won the grand prize, a spiffy new Urban-X commuter bike, courtesy of Commute Solutions. A dozen runners-up won environmentally friendly tote bags.
