How to Fuel a UCSD Vehicle

Follow these steps to fuel a UCSD vehicle.

- Fleet Services issues electronic fuel keys to departments for UCSD vehicles requiring gas or diesel fuel.
- Request an electronic fuel key in one of the following ways:
- Call Fleet Services, (858) 822-0376, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
- E-mail Ben Oberlin.
- Visit the Fleet Services office located on the east side of the Campus Services Complex across from the Central Garage (map).
- A PIN number is assigned to electronic fuel keys.
- Fuel pumps are located on the east side of the Campus Services Complex across from the Fleet Services office (map).
- UCSD vehicles can be fueled 24/7 using electronic fuel keys.
- Insert the electronic fuel key into the automated terminal near the pumps.
- The system will prompt you to:
- Enter the PIN number.
- Enter the current mileage.
- Enter the number of the pump you wish to use.
- Fill the tank.
