Short-Term Parking Permits (Faculty/ Staff)

Permit fees
Anyone parking a vehicle at UCSD must pay a fee to help support the construction, maintenance, and administration of parking facilities. Parking permits are required during these hours:
- Main campus — 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., weekdays
- Scripps Institution of Oceanography — 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days a week
- Hillcrest Medical Center — 24 hours, 7 days a week
- La Jolla Medical Center — 24 hours, 7 days a week
Note: University or state funds may not be used to purchase staff parking permits. University policy prohibits faculty and staff use of a university-funded permit.

- Manager and senior professionals (MSP)
- Note: Postdoctoral students and visiting scholars are not eligible to purchase parking permits with A status.

- $46.50 per week

Purchase this permit for as many as 10 days within the 3.5 calendar months printed on the face of the permit. Clearly mark an "X" with black ink on the date of use each time you park.
