Find out about reserved and disabled parking spaces, which require specific permits and/or authorization.
The following permits are never valid in "A" 24/7 parking spaces:
Note: You must display either an annual "A" permit or a short-term-use permit that specifically authorizes "A" 24/7 parking.
Only registered carpoolers have permission to park in reserved carpool spaces.
Vehicles parking in Disabled spaces must always display a Disabled Person placard or plates. See details about disabled (accessible) parking.
A numbered reserved space indicates individual ownership. The owner must display a numbered reserved permit that matches the posted and/ or stenciled number of the space.
Use of an individual's reserved space by someone other than the owner requires both:
Note: Vehicles without a valid UCSD parking permit displayed will be cited.
A numbered reserved space with a "D" suffix indicates department ownership.
Note: UCSD employees may never park in reserved department spaces.
Temporary Special Event signs or blue-bagged meters indicate reserved Special Event parking.
Only designated UC vehicles can park in reserved UC Vehicles spaces.
