Find out where and how to buy a parking permit either in person or online.

Convenient online permit sales:

Students can buy permits online now and receive them by mail. Faculty and staff online permits sales available soon!

Most staff and faculty permits require campus ID and are sold in person only at these locations (except during university holidays):

Campus parking office
Address:	9500 Gilman Drive, Mail Code 0040 La Jolla, CA 92093-0040
Permits sold:	All types, except Gilman pay station
Location:	Gilman Parking Structure, level 2 (map)
Hours:	Weekdays, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Medical Center Hillcrest parking office

Location:	Bachman Parking Structure, level 2 (map)
Hours:	Weekdays, 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Thornton Hospital

Permits sold:	Medical Center staff may purchase Occasional Use B and Night/ Weekend Quarterly permits from the vending machine in the hospital foyer near the west entrance.
Hours:	Weekdays, 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. See also Patient/ Visitor Parking: Medical Center La Jolla.

University Extension
Location:	UCSD Extension Complex 9600 N. Torrey Pines Road La Jolla, CA 92093 (map)
Permits sold:	University Extension students showing proper ID may purchase Night/ Weekend Quarterly permits.
Hours:	Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday, 8 a.m. – noon (closed Sunday)

Permits sold:	45 minutes to 1 day (except inside Gilman Parking Structure) 1 hour to 1 day (inside Gilman Parking Structure)

Notes	Exact change is required. Pay stations do not dispense change. Pay with any combination of the following: Cash — $1 and $5 bills only Visa MasterCard American Express *Pay stations permits purchased outside Gilman Parking Structure are not valid for visitor parking inside the structure.
