How to Pay a Parking Citation

Note: Online payments are subject to a $3 service charge.

1. Go to pticket.com.
2. Enter your citation number in the open field and click Search.
3. Find your citation number on the list and click Citation Details.
4. Pay your parking citation with a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.

Pay attention to the due date(s) of the citation(s). If your payment isn't posted by the due date, the fine doubles.

You can pay parking citations by phone using either a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.

1. Call the toll free parking information line at (888) 442-4088, and follow the automated prompt.
2. Use the numbers on your phone to enter 8273 (UCSD) when asked for the issuing agency.
3. Enter your citation or license plate number.
   • Citation numbers have a prefix of either A or UC.
   • Enter the numeric portion of the citation number only.
4. Listen for a summary of unpaid citations.
   • Flag each citation you wish to pay.
   • Listen for a recap of the citations flagged and the amount due.
   • Accept what you've chosen, or start again.
5. Enter your billing information:
   • Credit or debit card number
   • Credit or debit card expiration date
   • Your billing ZIP code
6. Wait for a payment authorization number to ensure the payment posted successfully. This completes the transaction.

Pay attention to the due date(s) of the citation(s). If your payment isn't posted by the due date, the fine doubles.

You can mail a check or money order made payable to UC Regents. Don't send cash.

To ensure your payment is posted to the correct citation(s), do the following:

1. Write your citation(s) or license plate number on your check.
2. Include your citation(s) with payment (if possible).
3. Mail your payment to: UCSD Payment Center / P.O. Box 2002 / Tustin, CA 92781-2002

Pay attention to due date(s) on the citation(s). If your payment isn't postmarked by the due date, the fine doubles.
