Spend Alerts Overview

Learn about the Spend Alerts feature at STORE.

Spend Alerts is a feature that lets you monitor spending activity for purchases made online from STORE. You create your own Spend Alerts for notification of expenditures made by anyone, using the following criteria:

  • Type of item purchased
  • Dollar amount spent
  • A single index
  • All indexes with a particular prefix
  • All indexes with a particular prefix tied to a certain fund
  • Indexes for certain organization codes tied to a specific fund

After you have set up your Spend Alert, you will receive an e-mail when anyone makes a purchase that meets your criteria. This e-mail will list the following:

  • Index, organization, or fund used (depending on the option you chose)
  • Who received the order
  • Delivery instructions
  • Who placed the order
  • Item(s) ordered
  • Total dollar amount of the order

You don't need to be a STORE shopper to use a Spend Alert. However, you do need to create a STORE Profile.

After you've created your profile, you're ready to create your alert.
