How to Check Status of a High Value Purchase Requisition

To learn if a High Value Purchase Requisition has been approved, assigned to a professional buyer, or details of the corresponding purchase order number, follow the instructions on this page.

Note: You must have a valid ACT User ID to access FinancialLink. Please see How to Get A User ID (Business Systems) if you need to obtain a User ID.

1. Go to the Requisitions screen in FinancialLink.

  • Access FinancialLink and click the For Ifis Users link.
  • Click the Generate a Requisition link.
  • If the Login page appears, type your ACT User ID and password in the login box.

You must have a valid ACT User ID to access FinancialLink. Please see How to Get A User ID (Business Systems) if you need to obtain a User ID.

2. Find the requisition you want to check.

  • Type the requisition number in the View Existing Requisition box on the left side bar.

Note: Be sure you are not typing in the Request Code field. You must type in the View Existing Requisition box.

  • Click the Find It button. The Requisition Summary screen will display.

3. Review the status of the requisition.

  • The Requisition Summary includes the following:
    • Requestor, mailing, shipping, and accounting details
    • Item(s)requested
    • Completion and approval status
    • Purchase order (PO) number (if assigned)
    • Name and phone number of the professional buyer handling the purchase
    • Status of the purchase order

Note: The PO number appears as a link if the PO has been completed and approved.

4. View the corresponding purchase order.

  • Click the link in the Purchase Order Number field.
