Note: Use Marketplace, UCSD's online buying site to order furniture items from BKM if your department has access.

  • If you're not sure that your department has access, check the list of departments and representatives (Excel) to find out.
  • If your department is listed, you can go directly to Marketplace and start shopping. If you can't find the item you want, contact the UC Call Center, (877) 722-9090 for assistance.

Office furniture includes but is not limited to desks, credenzas, bookcases, file cabinets, task seating (desk chairs), side chairs, binder bins, and partitioned offices spaces.

Buyer tip: Please select solid-wood furniture that is industrial-use quality. Avoid furniture made of particleboard. Steelcase offers a wide variety of solid-wood furniture at favorable pricing. If you want to purchase solid-wood furniture from a supplier other than Steelcase, contact the UCSD buyer.
