Please join us for the 25th anniversary celebration of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women’s (CSW) in partnership with the UC San Diego Women’s Center. This event will include a networking reception, remarks from Linda S. Greene, Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and a visual display of CSW's 25 years of accomplishments.

CSW's Charge

The Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) was formed in 1987 and is comprised of representatives appointed by the Chancellor from members of the faculty, staff, and students at UCSD. The charge to the committee is to:  

  • Identify and analyze issues relating to the status of women at UCSD, including faculty, staff and students.
  • Inform and educate the campus community about conditions that affect the status of women within the Unive rsity.
  • Advise and make recommendations to the Chancellor regarding policies and procedures that would improve conditions for women.
