Find out about UC's FitWell program for faculty and staff.
The University of California sponsors the FitWell program as part of its commitment to creating a positive, healthy work environment. Also see UCSD Recreation's FitLife programs.
FitWell is a free program designed to help faculty and staff work more effectively, reduce injuries, illness and stress, increase stamina, and create a healthy and fit lifestyle on and off the job.
Join us for "Walk & Stretch" outside Geisel Library (directly above library entrance; in front of the snake’s head); Tuesdays and Thursdays, every 10 minutes between 10-10:40 a.m. Everyone is welcome!
Walking and stretching are powerful tools in health management. Briskly walk from your work site to Geisel Library. You will be met by a qualified instructor who will guide you through a series of stretches for 10 minutes, then you will briskly return to your work location.
Note: A new 10-minute stretch session will start every 10 minutes between the hours of 10-10:40 a.m.
Class will be canceled on rainy days.
Did you know you can earn prizes for walking? Visit Walk UCSD.
