Staff Appreciation Events

Pay tribute to UCSD's extraordinary staff by attending a staff appreciation event.

To recognize the dedication and professionalism of its stellar staff, UCSD offers several staff appreciation events each April. Chancellor Marye Anne Fox approved 1 hour of paid administrative leave for all staff, as long as the absence does not disrupt required job duties.

Campuswide staff appreciation events for 2009 include:

Wednesday, April 22

The Enchanted Tiki Room: UCSD Catering and University Centers present the 13th Annual Staff Appreciation Lunch. Enjoy live music, an island-themed buffet, a volcanic dessert display, and more:

• 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Price Center, Ballrooms A & B (map)
• $17.95 per person (cash, check, credit card, or recharge accepted)
• Reserve (PDF) your spot by April 10.

April 20 – 24

A week of organic meals: Each campus Dining Services location will offer special organic meals in honor of Earth Week and staff:

• Pricing varies by location.

Faculty Club Staff Appreciation Breakfast: Recognize your staff with an elegant breakfast:
