The annual Service Awards Program honors staff employees who have achieved 10 or more years of service. The 2007-2008 ceremony will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Price Center Ballroom.

Eligibility

Staff employees are eligible for service awards when they have achieved 10 or more years of service, at 5-year intervals (10, 15, 20, and more).

Staff employees whose service achievement occurred between Sept. 1, 2007 and Aug. 31, 2008 (with Sept. 1, 2008 effective date) are eligible for this year's awards. To help in determining eligibility, departments can use the Service Credit Calculation form (PDF), which should be submitted to Human Resources Records.

Submission

Departments are responsible for submitting eligible employees' names and other required information. To do so:

• Verify that employees are eligible.
• E-mail worklife@ucsd.edu to receive Web link where information for all eligible employees will be submitted.
• Submit the information for all eligible employees by Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.
