Eligibility: The school is open to children of university students, faculty, staff, and community members, with priority given to children of international families. Ages accepted for most sessions are 3 to 5. Children 2 years old are accepted only during classes held Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Parent responsibility: Parents may choose to register as co-op or non co-op status. All parents serve on a committee or join the Board of Directors and participate in one school wide clean-up each year. In addition, cooperative members work in the classroom a scheduled number of days per month. A limited number of spaces are available for non co-op status.
Class size: The preschool has a maximum of 24 students per class and the toddler class has 18 children enrolled. With the assistance of parents, the school maintains a child-to-adult ratio of 5-to-1.
Fees: In addition to the monthly tuition payments, fees include an annual, non-refundable registration fee and a refundable cleaning fee. Sibling discounts and work scholarships are available for qualifying families. Contact the school for a complete fee schedule.
